Our garden is south facing and terraced down towards the sea. We have access beachwards through a gate at the foot of the garden. The sea is never dull, there is an endless variety of wave and weather effects throughout the year.

Sunrise and sunsets are beautiful and moonlight over the sea is a dazzling spectacle, perhaps the most beautiful sight of all. All kinds of shipping can be seen (we have a telescope to assist in boat spotting!) including the spectacular Round the Island Yacht Race.

I attempt to grow a very wide variety of plants in the garden including many from the southern hemisphere. Irises are a personal favourite. The garden is at its most colourful May-June, but there is year round interest. You can view some of the photos from our garden below.
